Did you know that all wines are not vegan? You would think that wine would be vegan automatically because it’s made from grapes and other fruits, but actually no. Many wines contain animal based products like eggs, dairy, and fish that are added in and while they get filtered out, it still makes these wines non-vegan. With that stated, let’s get into some vegan-friendly wines that you can consume whether you’re vegan or looking to try more dairy-free products.

1. Oliver Winery - Apple Pie Wine

I found this wine at Trader Joe’s and it’s a seasonal autumn wine from Oliver Winery. This very sweet dessert wine contains flavors of baked apples, vanilla, nutmeg and brown sugar flavors. It’s a real winner for Thanksgiving and anything having to do with fall’s harvest season.

2. Tabitha Brown - “Hello There” Red Wine Blend

Everyone needs a classic red wine on their wine cabinet. Tabitha Brown is everyone’s favorite vegan auntie and her food collection that was released in 2023 also included wine. Besides this “Hello There” red wine, there’s also a moscato and a peach bellini wine to add to your cart.

3. Yes Way Rosé

I found out that Yes Way Rosé carried vegan-friendly wine and ran to grab a bottle. Just like everyone needs a classic red wine, this classic rosé is also a need. According to the website, it carries notes of grapefruit zest, white peach, and strawberry and is great to have with dinner.

4. St. James Winery - Cranberry Wine

Most of St. James Winery’s wines are vegan-friendly including this seasonal Cranberry wine. It’s sweet, tart and perfect for fall and winter.

5. Live-A-Little - Really Ravishing Red

Cheers to another red wine. Live-A-Little has plenty of vegan-friendly wines including this South African red wine with notes of chocolate and fruits like cherries and blackberries. I also love that it’s organic and there are plenty more from this brand to choose from.

Make sure to drink responsibly and only if you’re 21 and older! Cheers!

Have you had any of these wines? Or what vegan-friendly wines have you tried?
